Mountain Lion fans,   What a playoff performance!

Yesterday, your E.L. Haynes Lady Mountain Lions Flag Football Team  took on the higher-seeded  Friendship Tech Prep squad and delivered a dominant  26-0 victory in the PCSAA Quarterfinals!  

The Mountain Lions came out focused, energized, and ready for the moment. Led by a powerful offensive attack, Naima B. exploded for three touchdowns, while Khiya V. added another score to help seal the impressive win. The offense kept Friendship Tech guessing all game long, pulling out exciting plays like the flea flicker and perfectly timed QB sneaks that caught the opponent completely off guard.  

But the story was not just offense. The defense was absolutely locked in! With a complete shutout, the Lady Mountain Lions refused to allow Friendship Tech Prep to find the end zone. Every flag pull, and every defensive stand showed discipline, and championship-level focus.

This victory was even sweeter because it avenged the Lady Mountain Lions’ season-opening loss to Friendship Tech Prep. Now, the journey continues. The Mountain Lions will play in the semifinals tomorrow at 4:00 PM in what is sure to be a tough matchup against KIPP Legacy College Prep at KIPP Legacy.
